People, who had come to watch the performance, half expecting the eccentric father of The Cosby Show to stumble out on the stage, were in for a big surprise. Not only did they witness one of the best performances by the veteran comedian Bill Cosby, but it turned out to be the best theatrical productions in the recent times. Even though the show had been billed to be of 90 minutes duration, it extended to nearly two and a half hours and there was no break in between.

Most of Bill Cosby’s performance was about his long-time marriage to Camille. And as usual his performance had an arc and depth that ensured that he still ruled the stand-up business. His unique style of using long silent pauses and facial expressions was also seen at play and it had that same spellbinding effect on his audiences for which he has been known since the heyday of silent films.
